This dish was probably made for the Japanese market. It is of shallow form with rounded sides rising towards a slightly flared rim.The centre is painted with a ribboned artemisia leaf. A six-character mark of Yongle (1403-1423) is written in a horizontal line below the rim. The reverse is undecorated. Some sand adhering to the footring
