EF 37 A brown-glazed ewer

南宋或元 棕釉壺

Southern Song or Yuan dynasty, 12th-14th century

The sides of the ovoid body with sloping shoulders tapering to a waisted neck below the dish-shaped mouth. 
It has  a curved spout set opposite the elongated C-shaped handle and flanked by two circular lugs. It is covered with a deep brown-black glaze thinning to an orange-brown colour at the rims and stopping unevenly above the solid tapered foot showing the light buff body. The inside of the mouth has a silvery black colour reminiscent of hare's fur.

時代：南宋或元朝，西元12至14世紀。
特徵：壺身呈卵形，兩側帶圓形凹耳，C形手柄，壺流略彎。器身施不均勻深棕黑色釉，靠近足部處可見淺黃色胎體。
尺寸：高12.5公分。
