The meiping-shaped bottle is painted in underglaze-blue with a dense, continuous scene of thirty magpies perched and flying around a blossoming prunus tree, the recessed base inscribed with a spurious four-character Yongzheng mark

Magpies are a pun for happiness (xi) and the thirty birds on this bottle signify luck and happiness for each day of the month.
