The cover has a mokume ground (imitation wood) reserved with a panel decorated in hira-makie, taka-makie, togidashi and silver with details in aogai with a panel of a landscape with pavillion and waterfall.
The interiors and base have a nashiji ground

特徵：盒蓋紋路模仿樹幹年輪，並有蒔繪瀑布涼亭與青貝螺鈿等裝飾，器內與底座則採「梨子地」(nashiji)裝飾技術。
