17th century, Chongzhen period (1627-1644)
The deep dish is painted in the interior in underglaze blue, iron-red, green, yellow and turquoise with a cockerel standing on a scholar's rock, flanked by large flowering branches of peony and chrysanthemum. The everted barbed rim is painted with scrolling lotus flowers. The exterior has two spiky branches of plum issuing from grassy leaves. The base has large areas of sand adhering.

特徵：深壁，折沿倭角且飾纏枝蓮紋。盤內以釉裡紅、青花、綠色、黃色與綠松石色畫站於奇石上的公雞，奇石兩側是盛開的牡丹與菊花。此盤為日本市場所製
