Kangxi period (1662-1722), ca. 1695
The hexagonal red stoneware teapot is resting on six angular feet and set with a dragon head spout and upright handle in the form of two dragons biting a pearl. The sides are moulded with dragons amongst waves. The cover is surmounted by a chilong finial encircled by three further chilong repeated on the shoulder.
