明萬曆青花茶壺

The ovoid body rises to a short waisted neck, and is set with a curved spout and a C-shaped handle. It is freely painted on both sides in underglaze-blue outlines with a lion in a garden below and amongst leaves, the spout and handle with a striped pattern. The domed cover with radiating leaves encircling the bud finial.
