carved as a standing figure of Liuhai carrying a string of coins behind his back and his three-legged toad on his left shoulder, his face showing a joyful expression, the stone of even pale celadon colour, coral stopper in the shape of a straw hat

height 5.6 cm without stopper

from a Dutch private collection acquired prior to the 1980’s

A very similar bottle was in the Arthur Gadsby Collection, Sotheby’s Hong Kong, May 1991, lot no. 120.
