A famille-verte teapot and cover

Kangxi period (1662-1722) 

The drum-shaped teapot is finely painted on one side with a phoenix standing on rocks amidst flowers and below clouds. The other side is painted with two mandarin ducks in a lotus pond. The teapot is moulded with two raised bands with applied bosses around the foot and mouth rim. The handle and spout are decorated with flower designs. The spout- and mouth rim are gilded. The flat cover is painted with a floral scroll and is set with finial in the shape of a Buddhist lion.
