A pair of kakiemon-style bowls
The bowls have fluted sides and a barbed rim, the lower part tapering to a small foot. The interiors are painted in the kakiemon palette of green, blue, yellow and red enamels highlighted in gilt with branches of prunus, pine and bamboo all above a small flower head in the centre. The exteriors are decorated with three groups of scrolls divided with symbols of a pearl and horn.
